This is a photo of a very large skull on the roof of my car. Sublime and ridiculous. I'm sure you heard the rumours around Hintonburg and they are, in fact, true. I registered a business, bought a domain name, I put a giant foamcore skull on my car. Been that kind of week people. Odd. Scary. All that. (More to come on the first two at a later date.) I just happen to get a tremendous amount of satisfaction from this pic. Blogs all about over sharing. (FYI, said skull is now enjoying some quite time on the couch before I put him away again until Halloween.) The phallic fire hydrants haven't yet been installed, so what is a girl to do to keep herself amused. (Don't answer that.)
All to say, I'm out there taking photos. Making do. (Yes, I promise to take photos of the hydrants.)
Speaking of photos, I need your help. Lynn over at Turtlehead and organizer extraordinaire said she was looking for photos for Blog Out Loud Ottawa and I volunteered. Full of first BOLO for me. This will be my first time showing off photos. Scary folks. Very scary. Stop and look ok? Say nice to me... that's the rule. (Good paper might be a nice fall back.)
What to show is the question. I have received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from Kapgar's Photo Scavenger Hunt. Kevin posted a series of song lyrics, then we went out took photos. (The full set is on Flickr!) Hence, I'd like to use photos from the Hunt and add a few more to it.
Here's where you come in. It's no fun if I pick the song lyrics. Hence, if you could, post a lyric from a song and I'll do what I can to interpret. Favourite photos will end up in the show and all the photos will be posted here...
Pretty please... just a couple lines.
