We go down to the river

Distance: 5.01 miles
Path: The River (the snow is almost all gone)
Time: 1:00:48 (off my 12 min/mil but just)
Temperature: 22C/71F and sunny.
Temperature on Monday in Halifax: 0C/32F overcast and windy.
Temperature in Honolulu: 25C/77F

I am not sure what we've done to this planet's climate but I'm 99 per cent sure this isn't normal. We've gone from freezing to 70F in less than a week. Not normal I say.

The trip to Halifax was delightful but I whooped and pretty sure I have some sort of virus. Or I was looking for an excuse not to run. But it got up to 24C today. And really I figured I should run. The only reason I wasn't running was because of a series of odd, non-committed complaints. So I sucked it up and enjoy to sunshine.

The sudden change in the weather is revealing under sure sign of spring. The path by the river is now open again. Given how off I was feeling, I really wasn't expecting much with this run. Still not a bad little run, if a touch on the slow side.

Looking ahead, I need to:
1. Clean up my diet.
2. Cross train
3. Stick to the schedule.

That's the goal for next week.
